CTY Air was engaged to complete the mechanical fit-out on a space that boasts a cutting-edge lecture theatre, dance studio, seminar room, change rooms, staff rooms and informal learning spaces.

Specific acoustic requirements will allow dance classes to be held in the new building, while curved theatre seating, a sprung floor, custom-printed murals and exposed mechanical services round out the high-quality construction works.
The scope of work included multiple Mitsubishi Electric VRF heat recovery systems, Temperzone water cooled package systems, CO2 monitoring & a BMCS system serving the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic & fire services.

The acoustic requirements meant the construction of a complex three-layer ceiling with stepped heights, unique due to its three-layer spring hanger design with integrated seismic restraint. To successfully execute this project, CTY was required to have pin point precision in our set out & rough in phases of the project to produce the exposed mechanical services to suit the architectural layout.
