CTY Air Conditioning delivered the CHW MSCP Stage 2 mechanical package

CTY Air Conditioning delivered the CHW MSCP Stage 2 mechanical package under a Design and Construct contract with Kane Constructions.

The new multi-storey car park was part of the NSW Government’s $619 million redevelopment. The Stage 2 Redevelopment is a significant expansion to paediatric health services in western Sydney. The new car park includes close to 1,000 car parking spaces with future provision for a link bridge connecting the structure to the Children’s Hospital. The new car park has a number of sustainable features to help reduce carbon emissions including solar panels installed on both the façade and roof, generating over 600kW of sustainable energy to the hospital.  The project was carried out amongst a live Hospital, strict safety measures & pre-project BIM clash detection was conducted by CTY Air to ensure minimal disruption occurred to the surrounding Hospital precinct.

The project furthers the Westmead Health Precinct as one of the largest health, research, education and training precincts in the world. Our scope included BIM production & dRufus integration, supplying Daikin systems to multiple comms rooms, Daikin package systems, mechanical ventilation & a Schneider BMS system.
