Sustainability Meets Precision at Williamtown RAAF Base

CTY was engaged to complete the upgrade of all Mechanical systems at the Williamtown Royal Australian Air Force Base. The project included the decommission, removal & replacement of over 170 redundant R-22 refrigerant air conditioning systems for the Department of Defence & BGIS.

During this project we successfully reclaimed & sustainably disposed of over 600kg’s of R-22 refrigerant, which can have a Greenhouse Gas effect 1,760 times greater than Carbon Dioxide.

The project was successfully delivered within 3 months of engagement, resulting in the stakeholders reaching their Green Star initiative goal within the deadline.
